Congratulations Max
Well done to Max, our 17 year old apprentice for completing his first year of his Carpentry and Joinery course.
Max has worked really hard and has passed some of his exams with distinction. He is now looking forward to his 2nd year at Bath City College.
The apprentices go to college for 2 days every week, where they study theory and practical aspects of Carpentry and Joinery, and for the remaining 3 days a week they are on site putting their training into practice.
Max has been given tasks such as putting on skirting and architraves, hanging doors and making up frames. His second year will be to hone in on these skills and also to learn how to build roof trusses amongst other things.
Oliver and Naomi are extremely proud of Max and understand the importance of training up the younger generation, in order for the future of the industry to continue.
Max is the second CITB apprentice to be taken on by Master Trades. Dominic succesfully completed his 2 year Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship last year.
